What can you say? It's Mick and the lads with 40 of their best. At that price it's a steal.
One sticking point some of the tracks are "Readers Digest" versions. They are not precisely the same song as they were originally.
So maybe they should have gone with 45 Licks and given the full weight. They should know fans recall every note.
Don't cheat die-hard fans! We don't appreciate it. |

Great Compilation For The Casual Stones Fans! |
| This really is the best Stones compilation for any casual fan of the Stones. I have noted other reviewers comment on 'edited' versions of a few songs. Guess what? I didn't notice. I'm no die hard Stones fan so it dosen't bother me. What I like is the selections chosen for this release. Angie, Brown Sugar, She's A Rainbow, Tumbling Dice, Emotional Rescue etc. etc., all on the one (or two) CD. Great album for those who like to listen to the Stones on the odd occasion. |
